It is amazing what difference a year makes! We brought B home from the hospital last 4th of July and this year we spent it playing in the ocean and watching B walk on the sand!
We had a busy weekend! Friday night we went to Fort Rucker’s Freedom Fest. There were SO many people! They had helicopters you could get in and take pictures with. We didn’t make it too long because it was past bedtime but we came back and watched the fireworks on the back of the car. They were so pretty! The next morning we headed down to the beach. We played on the sand and in the ocean and then got in the pool for a while. We got dinner and sat on the lawn at Seaside and listened to the concert. They had 4 old acrobatic planes fly over and do flips. They kept doing circles and B loved it! He pointed and squealed. He danced to the music and waved his flag and flirted with all the girls around him, young and old. He went especially crazy about the 2 year old girl in front of us who was blowing kisses at him. We go to the doctor in the morning for B’s 1 year check-up!
