Patton is 14 months old today so I figured it's about time to update the blog since I haven't since he was born!

We have 2 walking boys now! Patton can go up and down the stairs like a pro so we took down all the gates. He loves his big brother and tries to do everything b does. They are crazy about each other and love to play together. Patton is the sweetest little boy and is so happy to tag along in whatever we are doing. He loves to blow kisses at people and to wrestle with b. b talks non-stop and keeps us laughing. He started soccer this year but has yet to play in a game. He loves to play in the backyard and at their practice so we're hoping he realizes how much fun he is missing out on soon!

Browning got promoted to Captain! He is staying busy at work and is set to deploy to Kandahar, Afghanistan sometime in January. We are enjoying as much time with him as possible before he leaves for the year. The boys and I will be moving to Homewood for the year so it will be nice to be close to family and friends while he is gone.

B turned 2 on July 2nd! We had a fun day just playing at home and had lots of cupcakes and pizza!

Sorry for the long break in pictures! B is on the go non-stop and keeps us busy. We found out last week we are moving to Colorado Springs! We are so excited and ready to get out there! We should move in September or October. We're getting ready for the new baby sometime early August. B loves to talk about "baaabeeeees" but doesn't understand he's about to have a brother!

Little B turns 2 years old on July the 2nd and is getting more grown up everyday. He still loves his choo-choos and anything else with wheels. He sleeps in his big boy bed every night and loves bugs, playing outside, and reading books.

Big B just finished another phase of flight school yesterday and is now flying nights, which we love because he is home with us during the day!

We've been having so much fun and enjoying our time together because Browning starts the Apache course next week and will be a lot busier! B is still on the go all the time and runs everywhere saying "go go go go GO!" We find out the sex of the baby on Tuesday!!

We're expecting another baby August 5th! We are so excited and will find out if it is a boy or girl in March!

B got his first haircut and has not been called a girl since!

Peanut Festival

My parents came down for the Peanut Festival in Dothan a few weeks ago. They had tons of rides, fried foods, and animals. It was SO much fun and we loved spending time with Grandmama & Granddaddy!

We went to Birmingham to trick or treat and had so much fun! We had a great crowd -Grandmama, Granddaddy, Sunshine, Papa, Aunt Bekah, (who sweetly drove all the way from Auburn and took pictures for me all night!) Aunt Tere, Uncle Dave, Aunt Britney, and cousin Lillian! B was a skunk and was more interested in running the streets than getting the candy! We had such a wonderful time!

2 weeks ago, B finished flight school and got to pick his helicopter. He worked so hard during flight school and ended up 3rd in his class!! We are SO proud of him! He picked the APACHE!! He is really excited and can't wait to start in March! We should be here in Fort Rucker until September-ish and then we'll go somewhere else!

B started Mother's Day Out yesterday! He goes on Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 - 12:30 at Hillcrest Baptist here in Enterprise. He has 4 other kids in his class and his teacher is Ms. Amanda. She said he did pretty good, but about every hour he would realize I wasn't there and get upset. He goes back tomorrow so hopefully it will get easier for him. I enjoyed my time so much! I took tons of pictures of him but I'm waiting for the battery to charge so maybe tomorrow they will be up here.

Little B and I drove to Montgomery a few weeks ago and met my mom for the day! We had such a great time and can't wait to do it again! We first went to the zoo...

Our new afternoon activity is to walk. After naptime, B and I go back and forth in front of our house on the sidewalk until it gets too hot or he gets too brave and decides he wants to play in the street! Also, he is starting to blow kisses at people. Most of the time, when Daddy leaves for work, B and I are outside waving him goodbye and blowing him kisses. Today, he carried around a picture of big B and I all day and would kiss his Daddy's picture! It was so sweet!

We went to the beach again this past weekend and had a wonderful time! We brought B’s kayak and had so much fun playing around in the water.

Little B is ALL over the place these days! Most days, you can find him “cutting” our carpet with his lawnmower, driving in his cozy coupe, reading books, or swinging his golf club at anything he thinks looks like a ball! He gets so excited when his daddy gets home from work and runs at him screaming dada dada dada. He still hasn’t said mama... (I'm not jealous or anything) :)

Big B has about 2 1/2 weeks of initial flight school left and is getting excited to be finished with this phase! We find out which helicopter he gets in about 3 weeks so it is an exciting time! I am so proud of him!

A few weeks ago, we met my (Hannah) parents and the Cowart's down at the beach for the day. We had so much fun with them! We had brought our bikes so after saying goodbye, we went and rode all over Watercolor and Seaside. It was such a great day trip!

B and I drove to Birmingham a few weeks ago to surprise my sister for her birthday! We got to spend the week there playing with all of our family. As soon as the class fills up, he'll go 2 days a week!

I have lost my camera AGAIN! These pictures are from my phone. I did a major cleaning of the house this past week and I guess I cleaned just a little too well... We have been staying busy following B around because he never sits still! He is very into golf right now, which makes his daddy so proud! Little B and I made a quick trip to Birmingham a few weeks ago because my sister, Rebekah, was Gallahad at Camp Winnataska. It is a big honor but if you don't go to camp, you would think I was very strange to drive 7 hours to go see her say a few lines in a play. I loved getting to see her though! B spent the night with Sunshine and Papa and had a blast!

It is amazing what difference a year makes! We brought B home from the hospital last 4th of July and this year we spent it playing in the ocean and watching B walk on the sand!

We had a busy weekend! Friday night we went to Fort Rucker’s Freedom Fest. There were SO many people! They had helicopters you could get in and take pictures with. We didn’t make it too long because it was past bedtime but we came back and watched the fireworks on the back of the car. They were so pretty! The next morning we headed down to the beach. We played on the sand and in the ocean and then got in the pool for a while. We got dinner and sat on the lawn at Seaside and listened to the concert. They had 4 old acrobatic planes fly over and do flips. They kept doing circles and B loved it! He pointed and squealed. He danced to the music and waved his flag and flirted with all the girls around him, young and old. He went especially crazy about the 2 year old girl in front of us who was blowing kisses at him. We go to the doctor in the morning for B’s 1 year check-up!

Browning turns ONE today! This past year has flown by! It has been the most fun, rewarding, and happiest year of our lives. He is such a joy and we fall more in love with him everyday. He keeps us laughing all day with his faces and noises. We are very blessed to have this little boy as our child. He started walking on Sunday and hasn’t slowed down!

We had B's birthday party in Birmingham on Sunday. My sweet brother, Adam, opened his beautiful home to our family and friends . We had such a great time and were so glad so many people we love could be there. He did not like the cake...I think it was a little too big and all the people staring at him and singing to him spooked him a little. He had so much sugar this weekend and such a great time that he finally crashed Monday and slept almost all day.

This past Friday, we got to go see Browning fly at family day! It was really great to be able to see what he is doing all day and how well he flies already! It was SO hot so little B and I sat inside a good bit so I didn't get any pictures of him in his whole flight suit. He did so great and we got to go up in the control tower and watch him fly right by us. We were so proud of him and can't wait to see him fly again!

11 months and dedication

In just 2 weeks, B will be a year old! It has flown by and he has grown so much. Everyday he becomes more like a little boy and less like a baby. He is still trying hard to walk and has taken a few tumbles in his attempts. He is off baby food completely and cannot get enough food! He is drinking out of his sippy cup and loves to drink out of big people cups. He is babbling, squealing, and laughing constantly, which makes us laugh all day long. He still LOVES his daddy! As soon as Big B gets home, I don't exist anymore. He follows him anywhere he goes. 2 weekends ago, we took B to Birmingham and had him dedicated to the Lord at church. He slept through the whole thing. It was a special time for us and we were so blessed to have our family and friends there!

Big B is doing great in flight school. He did his solo flight (without his instructor pilot) last week and did great! He is working really hard at it and studies a lot after a long day and we're so proud of him!

We got B a few new pairs of shoes so when he starts walking we'll be ready. We put them on him yesterday and had him test them out. We laughed so hard at him trying to stomp up and down the hallway. He kept trying to scrape them off his feet and then laid on his back and tried to bite them off. I took him to the Child Development Center yesterday for 2 hours so I could go to the doctor and he did great! He didn't cry when I left and when I came back in, he just looked at me and smiled and continued to play with his toy. The lady said the only time he cried was when the other kids got pizza for lunch and he didn't get any!

We went to the beach with friends for Memorial Day and had such a wonderful time! B LOVED the sand, the ocean and the pool. He bear crawled all over the beach and straight into the water. He is walking while holding onto things now and will stand for a few seconds by himself. He is pointing at everything and loves getting into everything these days. He is now babbling mamamama now! He doesn't understand, but I pretend he does! He is getting his 9th and 10th teeth and they should be all the way through soon! We stay busy just following him around all day! He loves to hit everything on the floor and make noise. Big Browning flew his first helicopter last week and had so much fun! He has been studying a lot and is really enjoying flight school so far!

We've been busy around here lately! Big Browning started flight school so he's in class all day and then has to study at night. He'll be up in a helicopter in 2 weeks! He got his flight suit and helmet...as soon as he puts it on, I'll put up a picture of him! B turned 10 months old on Saturday and we have been staying busy playing with his toys, reading books, and crawling all over the house! He "cruises" around the house holding onto the furniture. He points at everything and babbles constantly. He started out with "yayayayaya" and now says "babababa." He learned how to clap the other day and loves to eat! I'm slowly trying to get him to eat table food but he doesn't like any of the textures. His 8th tooth just popped through the surface so hopefully he'll start to feel a little better!

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately! Browning starts flight school this upcoming Thursday so we've been trying to spend as much time with him as possible. Little B had his 9 month check up and he was 20.3 pounds and is 29.5 inches long! The doctor said he is doing great and one of the strongest babies he's seen at his age. He's been sleeping through the night and has been so much fun! He is crawling all over the place and "walking" using his push toy. As soon as I download Easter pictures, I'll put those up too!

B turned 9 months last week! It rained so much last week that we stayed home every day and played inside. He is getting so big and crawls all over the house! His new thing is to follow Browning everywhere he goes! He has become his little crawling shadow. John Stuart and Sallie came and stayed with us this weekend! We went to the Rattlesnake Rodeo in Opp, AL on Saturday! We had so much fun with them this weekend and were sad to see them go!

B is almost 9 months! He's getting into everything these days and keeps us laughing all day. He is starting to wave at people! He loves to turn off the lightswitch and is slowly learning how to turn it on. We went to the beach for the day yesterday and he loved playing by the waves and took a long nap bundled up in a towel. He's getting so big (and heavy too!) and we can't wait to see what the doctor says at his check-up next week!

B is getting into everything these days! We've put up a gate to keep him out of the kitchen but the rest of the house is his to explore! His favorite thing to do is pull the cords to the tv so we keep pretty busy making sure he stays away from those. He has 4 teeth on the top row and 3 on the bottom and we're starting finger foods slowly. We're headed to the beach for the day sometime this week so hopefully we'll get some pictures of him on the beach!

B is crawling all over the place! He started off slow the first day but he quickly started going fast! He is trying hard to pull up and loves to be standing holding onto something. It's been great weather down here so we got B's pool out today and let him splash around. He loved it!!

B kind of started crawling last night! He only did a few times but would go about 2 feet until he got to his destination. He stopped doing it as soon as we got out the video camera. We went back to the park yesterday and brought a blanket but he was much more interested in playing in the dirt and leaves. His 5th and 6th teeth are starting to come through!

We went to Birmingham for the long weekend and B spent the first night away from me with Grandmama, Granddaddy, Aunt Bekah, and cousin Lillian! We missed him but got a great night sleep! B also got to play with his other grandparents, Sunshine and Papa, and Aunt Tere a lot too! They took him to the park and on lots of strolls! They kept him for the day while we went to the farm. His favorite thing to do right now is to vibrate his lips. He is trying so hard to crawl and his 5th tooth is coming through!

We took B to the park in Enterprise today and he loved it! We pushed him in the swing, slid down the slide, and went on a long walk around the pond. We're planning on going back tomorrow since the weather has been so nice!

B is now 7 months old! His 4th tooth just came through and the 5th will be coming soon! He can sit up by himself, roll over both ways, and is starting to try to crawl. He pushes up and tries so hard! He wasn't a fan of fruit but loves vegetables! He starts eating meats tomorrow for lunch. He is a very happy baby and is getting more active every day!

B is 6 months old now and growing like a weed! His check up went great and got all of his shots. He weighs 17.6 pounds and is 27.5 inches long! He is right on track for all of his developmental abilities. Right now, he is into sitting up and playing with tupperware containers, touching things on the wall, smiling at everyone (including our couch pillows which he loves), walking in the walker, and eating food! We started him on rice cereal, which he devoured. Now he's on bananas...he makes the worst face but never refuses them! Tomorrow we start applesauce! B went to the nursery at church for the first time on Sunday and I looked at the screen the entire time waiting for his number to come up! He did great though! He slept through the night almost every single night this week and has started getting on more of a normal schedule for naps. The doctor said his front 2 teeth will come in soon so he's been a little fussier than normal. We spent a week in Birmingham over Christmas, then went to see the hotel my dad put together and developed in Mobile (it's very pretty and nice! we're very proud of him!!) and then went to the beach until new year's. We went out on the beach one day and got to walk in the water a little bit and watched the fireworks!

B is 5 months old now! He is starting to sit up for a few seconds by himself but falls over. We had a fun Thanksgiving and enjoyed Birmingham and family!

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately...I lost my camera cord but it is found again!!

B has TWO teeth now!! He got the first one last Thursday and the second one yesterday! They are both on the bottom row and it is so cute when he laughs because that is the only time he shows them. He had his 4 month checkup a few weeks ago and is a whopping 16.1 pounds and is 26 inches long! He went from being in the 12th percentile when he was born to now being in the 86th so he is doing great! Big Browning is coming home for good on Friday and we are SO excited!!

B had his first halloween and he was a bumble bee! Sweet Aunt Tere had all four grandparents and us over to her house for dinner and then we all went trick or treating around her neighborhood! Uncle Dave, Aunt Britney, and Lillian came and met us. We had so much fun! Big Browning is still out in Oklahoma but gets to come home for a weekend visit this Friday! Then he'll be home for good 2 weeks after that!

B got a couple of new toys recently. He got a jumparoo seat that hangs from the door frame. Papa and Sunshine got him a Bumbo seat for his 3 month birthday, which helps him learn to sit up like a big boy!

I accidently left B's pea in the pod costume at our house so he got a new one! We can't wait to go trick or treating!

B flipped over from his stomach to his back today! I layed him down to do some tummy time and turned around to get something, and by the time I turned back around, he was on his back! He did it a few more times, then fell asleep. I just got pictures of him on his stomach because I was calling Browning and both sets of grandparents after he flipped!

Big Browning left Saturday morning to go to Oklahoma for officer training for 7 weeks. He'll be back the Sunday before Thanksgiving! We've been in Birmingham this weekend and little B got to meet his great-aunt Tere! B went on his first hike with Aunt Bekah, Funkle Phil, Grandmama, and Granddaddy. He got to see Sunshine, Papa, and Aunt Tere a lot too!

B will be 3 months tomorrow! I weighed him on the scale this morning and it says he weighs 15.5 pounds!
